Nicholls Paces WVU at MSA Intercollegiate

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Led by Tristan Nicholls, the West Virginia University men’s golf team sits in 11th place after two rounds of action at the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate in Mobile, Alabama, on Tuesday.

The Mountaineers shot 292-295=587 to finish 11 over par on the Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course. Host South Alabama is in first at 11 under par with a two-round score of 565. Louisville is second with a score of 567 at nine under par, while Mississippi State is third at five under par with a 571.

“Our guys are disappointed in how they played today,” coach Sean Covich said.
