Rashid Shaheed has done everything to earn a future with the Seahawks

What a season it was for one of the NFL's fastest men on any given Sunday, Rashid Shaheed. The former New Orleans Saints speedster was traded mid-season to the Seattle Seahawks in an attempt to strengthen Sam Darnold's weapons and add a boost to an offense that was already humming.

However, upon Shaheed's arrival, his expected wide receiver role became something else entirely. While Shaheed was still used in the Seahawks' passing attack, it was surprisingly limited. Instead, Shaheed was used largely for special teams, and boy, did he excel quickly there.

Shaheed's impact in the return game did a lot of good for the Seahawks down the stretch, especially once the playoffs began, and the mid-season trade was paying off perfectly.
