PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Pilots dropped their home contest against the Santa Clara Broncos 77-66, snapping their four-game win streak. The loss puts the Pilots at 15-11 overall and 9-5 in WCC play.
Lainey Spear's 20 points led Portland on the scoreboard, a career-high for the forward. Spear scored 16 of her 20 points in the second half on her way to becoming the third Pilot to score 20 points in a game this year.
Florence Dallow led the way for the Pilots, scoring in double-digits for the fifth straight game and 13th time this season.
