The Philadelphia Eagles are promoting QB Nate Sudfeld to their active roster on Wednesday, according to his agent Jason Bernstein.
Congrats to @NateSudfeld on signing to the #Eagles 53!
Sudfeld, 24, is a former sixth-round pick of the Redskins back in 2016. He signed a four-year, $2.47 million contract with Washington and was set to make a base salary of $540,000 for the 2017 season when Washington cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
Sudfeld elected to leave the Redskins and sign on to the Eagles’ practice squad at the start of the season.
