The Milwaukee Brewers and Jimmy Nelson could not hold onto an early lead Saturday afternoon in San Francisco. The team would allow the Giants to come back from 5-1 and win the second game in a three-game series.
Nelson kept the Giants off the board for the first three innings, at one point retiring 11 batters in a row from the first to the fourth inning, six of those on strikes. His first run came after #oldfriend Stephen Vogt tripled and was driven in on a Kevin Pillar single.
While Nelson quieted the Giants, the Brewers chipped away at the scoreboard.
