After a tough series in San Francisco, the Brewers moved to San Diego hoping to get onto a winning streak. Unfortunately, the offense didn’t follow them to San Diego in the first game of the series.
Jhoulys Chacin made his return from the IL, and the start didn’t go very well for him. He did limit the Padres to two runs, but was working out of trouble all night. The first run came in the first inning, after he hit Eric Hosmer with a pitch, then Manny Machado advanced him to third with a double.
