Texans' tackling regresses against Colts

Although it was an overshadowed element during a dramatic comeback victory over the Indianapolis Colts, the Texans' tackling was substandard Sunday night.

There were several missed tackles, including ones by inside linebackers Benardrick McKinney and Brian Cushing, safety Andre Hal and cornerback Johnathan Joseph during the 26-23 overtime win. Colts running back Frank Gore rushed for 106 yards and quarterback Andrew Luck scrambled for 53 yards and a touchdown.

"Sometimes, we’re crossing over," Texans coach Bill O'Brien said. "We don’t have a good base underneath us. Sometimes, it’s not wrapping up. We’re trying to ‘block tackle.’ Sometimes we tackled really well.
