Texans rally late, boot Colts in overtime

Brock Osweiler awoke from a nearly game-long slumber to throw two rapid-fire touchdown passes in the final three minutes of regulation as the Texans frantically rallied from a 14-point deficit, then beat the Indianapolis Colts 26-23 at NRG Stadium on a 33-yard sudden-death field goal by Nick Novak.

The dramatic victory ended the Texans' five-game prime-time home losing streak to their AFC South rivals and kept them alone in first place in the division with a 4-2 record.

The remarkable comeback "says a lot about the guys on this team," coach Bill O'Brien said.

After the Texans' defense forced a Colts punt on the opening series of overtime, a 36-yard Osweiler-to-Jaelen Strong completion landed the Texans at the Indianapolis 12, setting up Novak's redemptive boot not quite seven minutes into the extra period.
