Texans veteran cornerback Johnathan Joseph and tight end Ryan Griffin returned to practice Thursday as part of the NFL concussion protocol.
Under NFL rules, Joseph and Griffin have to practice without symptoms and then pass a baseline neurological exam before they can be fully cleared.
Joseph and Griffin suffered concussions Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
Meanwhile, offensive guard Jeff Allen (concussion), tight end Stephen Anderson (hamstring), safety Quintin Demps (calf), running back Jonathan Grimes (cracked fibula), offensive tackle Derek Newton (ankle) and inside linebacker Brian Peters (quadriceps).
Grimes will miss this game, but none of the other players have been ruled out.
