Texans' Brock Osweiler's big pass came off audible

On one of the biggest plays in the Texans' 26-23 overtime victory over Indianapolis, quarterback Brock Osweiler changed the call at the line of scrimmage.

On second down at the Indianapolis 48 in overtime, Osweiler saw Jaelen Strong with man coverage provided by cornerback Rashaan Melvin. Osweiler sent Strong deep down the left side and threw him a 36-yard pass to the Colts' 12.

The play set up Nick Novak's game-winning 33-yard field goal.

"We have a lot of confidence in Brock being able to make changes at the line," coach Bill O'Brien said Monday. "That's one of the tenants of our offense, that the quarterback can take advantage of a look and put us in the best play.
