Cornerback Robert Nelson has been moved from the Texans' practice squad to the active roster.
To make room for Nelson on the roster, the Texans placed defensive lineman Brandon Dunn on waivers. If Dunn clears waivers, he'll be re-signed to the practice squad.
Nelson, who was signed to the Texans' practice squad last season, also had stints with Cleveland and Arizona.
