Bill O’Brien held an extended practice Sunday morning, the longest of this year’s training camp.
“We had to get a lot of things covered,” O’Brien said Sunday. “We installed two-minute, had a number of different two-minute situations today. We installed some different defenses and some different things on offense so it just took a bit longer to get all that done.”
Players, wearing helmets and shells, practiced for nearly two and a half hours. Prior to Sunday, the Texans had been wearing full pads since Day 3 of training camp, for four consecutive practices. Despite a long morning outside, O’Brien was pleased with what they were able to accomplish in their two-minute work.
