The former hit the latter for a 26-yard touchdown pass with 0:49 remaining in regulation, as Osweiler threaded the proverbial needle in getting the ball to the tight end.
“He made a great throw to C.J. on that touchdown,” head coach Bill O’Brien said on Monday. “That was not a very big window to throw that ball into.”
The touchdown, and ensuing extra point by kicker Nick Novak, equalized the score at 23-all. Being on
“the same page” was the key, according to Fiedorowicz.
“He saw me and he threw it right in the perfect spot,” Fiedorowicz said.
