HOUSTON -- Facing a Houston team that was shaky at the back in Week 1, FC Dallas was expecting a lot of goals in Saturday's contest.
What FCD didn't expect is that all the goals would be in its own net. The Dynamo stunned FC Dallas with four goals in the first half hour and added one in the second half to finish the rivalry match with a 5-0 victory.
"We could not find the rhythm all game," FC Dallas coach Oscar Pareja said. "I thought we had a little reaction in the second half, but it was not strong enough.
