Brandon Williams has been an excellent addition to the Dallas Mavericks since they signed him during the 2023-24 season. His production has skyrocketed this year, as Williams has proven to be a valuable member of the team and has started in 12 games. Yet, his time with the Mavericks may be cut short. Dallas may not be able to afford Williams when he hits free agency in the summer.
Last season, Williams signed a two-year, $2.3 million deal back in April after he outplayed his two-way deal. The Mavs quickly gave Williams a standard contract, as he used all of his two-way eligibility.
