The Celtics filled a pair of open roster spots on Thursday, and one of the players was briefly a member of the 2024 championship team.
According to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto, the Celtics signed Dalano Banton to a 10-day contract.
Banton, a 6-foot-8-inch, 203-pound forward, appeared in just two games this season with the Clippers. He played in 67 games and made seven starts the year before with the Blazers.
He now returns to Boston, where he spent a portion of the 2024 season. He averaged 2.3 points and 1.5 rebounds in 7.
