No one is oblivious to the narrative surrounding Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney. He continues to get opportunities like the one he is currently in with Team Canada at the Winter Olympics, but some Bruins fans believe that he is the reason the team isn't still at the top of the Atlantic Division. While I don't agree with some of his moves, it's hard to ignore that some of his work has been good.
First of all, there aren't many trades that Sweeney hasn't won during his Bruins tenure. His shortcomings are normally at the draft table, but for some reason, he is able to negotiate a deal with the best of them.
